Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited is a Hong Kong-based company founded in 1984. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank, which is itself a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc. The company compiles, publishes and manages a range of stock market indexes covering Hong Kong and mainland China markets, including the Hang Seng Index and various ESG and sustainability benchmarks.
