H2GREEN H AS is a Norwegian company serving as the coordinator for the Rogaland green hydrogen project. Selected under the European Commission's third European Hydrogen Bank auction in the dedicated maritime-aviation topic, the project features a 12.5 MWe electrolyser expected to produce 17.7 kilotons of renewable hydrogen over 10 years. It anticipates avoiding 121 kilotons of CO2 equivalent emissions and received support at a premium of €3.49 per kg of certified hydrogen from the Innovation Fund. The initiative contributes to the auction's total of approximately 1.1 GW electrolyser capacity across nine projects in seven EEA countries.
