Greenstar Fertilizers Limited is a leading Indian manufacturer and marketer of fertilizers, with a primary focus on phosphatic fertilizers produced at its manufacturing facility in Tuticorin (Thoothukudi), Tamil Nadu. The company produces Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Single Super Phosphate (SSP), phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, and a portfolio of water-soluble fertilizers, organic manures, micronutrients, secondary nutrients, plant growth regulators, and industrial chemicals, often under SPIC brands. It also imports fertilizers for the Indian market and emphasizes customized, soil- and climate-specific farm inputs through ongoing R&D.

Established in 2010 as a public company since 2011, Greenstar acquired the phosphatics manufacturing assets of Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd (SPIC), strengthening its capabilities in the segment. Headquartered at SPIC House in Guindy, Chennai, with operations centered in Tamil Nadu, the company provides value-added services including soil and water testing, farmer training programs, agricultural magazines, and SMS-based advisories to support Indian farmers.

Greenstar operates as a co-existent entity and affiliate within the SPIC Group, part of the Singapore-headquartered AM International. It holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. The company is expanding through significant investments, including a new water-soluble fertilizer mixing plant in Chennai, a 2,500 tpd sulphuric acid plant, and refurbishment of DAP facilities in Thoothukudi, aligning with broader group commitments in Tamil Nadu.
