GlasPort Bio Limited is an Irish biotechnology company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Galway, with operations also in Belfast. It develops technologies to reduce methane and other greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural sources, including manure storage and ruminant digestion. Its main products include GasAbate, a slurry additive that cuts methane emissions from stored manure by up to 78 percent, and RumenGlas, a feed additive targeting enteric emissions.
The company was acquired by Roebuck Food Group in December 2024, after which Roebuck assumed board control. GlasPort Bio has installations on dairy, beef, and pig farms across Europe and has received recognition for its contributions to agricultural sustainability and the circular bioeconomy.
