GCA Holdings LLC is a US-based holding company affiliated with Lotus Infrastructure Partners and MB Energy. It owned and developed the Gulf Coast Ammonia ammonia production facility in Texas City, Texas, featuring a 1.3 million tonne per annum nameplate capacity single-loop synthesis plant with associated storage and loading infrastructure.
The asset, previously advanced under joint ownership involving Starwood Energy and Mabanaft, reached commissioning stage by mid-2026. In July 2026, GCA Holdings agreed to sell the facility to Yara North America for USD 1.3 billion, subject to customary conditions and approvals. The transaction includes long-term utility supply arrangements with Air Products.
