Located in Gachsaran, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, the company runs the Gachsaran Petrochemical Complex on a 157-hectare site. Incorporated in 2011 and commissioned around 2023-2024, it produces one million tonnes of ethylene annually along with 84,600 tonnes of C3+ byproducts, using feedstock from the Bidboland Gas Refining Company via a 90 km pipeline.

The facility is noted for its high level of domestic manufacturing, exceeding 83 percent, which has positioned it as Iran's most indigenously developed olefin plant and contributed to significant foreign currency savings of around 269 million euros.

It forms part of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) group, with PGPIC owning 46.37 percent of shares, alongside other investors such as Sepehr Saderat Financial Group and regional petrochemical entities including Dehdasht, Mamsani, Kazeroun, and Boroujen Petrochemical companies.

The company supplies ethylene to downstream units via the West Ethylene Pipeline and supports the broader petrochemical value chain in western and southern Iran, enhancing national self-sufficiency in chemical production.

Also known as Gachsaran Olefin Complex.
