Freedom Pines Fuels is a U.S.-based sustainable fuels biorefinery associated with LanzaJet, located in Georgia. The facility focuses on producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel from ethanol using Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) conversion technology.
Positioned as a commercial-scale demonstration site, Freedom Pines Fuels helps validate and scale advanced biofuel processes that lower lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional petroleum-derived jet fuel. The plant leverages low‑carbon ethanol feedstocks and serves as a reference for deploying ethanol-to-jet pathways in future SAF projects.
