Forth Valley College is a public further education institution in central Scotland, serving the Forth Valley region with campuses in Falkirk, Stirling and Alloa. It delivers vocational and higher education qualifications (including NC, HNC/HND and degree pathways) across engineering, applied science, computing, construction, care, business and creative disciplines.
For the chemicals and process industries, the college offers training in process operations, instrumentation and control, mechanical and electrical engineering, laboratory science and life sciences, alongside health, safety and environmental subjects. Provision includes school–college pathways, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships, employer-led upskilling and full-time study. Located near the Grangemouth industrial cluster, Forth Valley College works with regional employers to align curricula and provide hands-on learning in laboratories and workshops, supporting progression into technician, operator and supervisory roles in petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and related process sectors.
