Főnix Magántőkealap (Főnix Private Equity Fund) is a Hungarian private equity fund managed by Gránit Alapkezelő Zrt. (Gránit Asset Management Plc.).
The fund invests in diverse sectors including energy services, real estate development, agriculture, forestry, food processing, and cosmetics. Notable past and present holdings include stakes in ALTEO Nyrt., an energy services provider, and WABERER’S International Nyrt., a logistics firm. It has been involved in significant transactions such as share swaps with MOL Group subsidiaries to adjust its portfolio.
Established with substantial investment from the Hungarian Development Bank as part of crisis capital programs, the fund focuses on strategic acquisitions and divestments in listed and private companies to optimize long-term value.
