Field is a UK-based energy infrastructure company that develops, builds, owns, and operates grid-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). Its assets help integrate variable renewable generation into electricity grids by storing surplus power and releasing it when demand rises, improving system reliability and flexibility across the UK and selected European markets.

Using large-scale electrochemical storage—commonly lithium-ion—Field’s projects provide ancillary services such as frequency response, reserve, balancing, and capacity support, and participate in wholesale and intraday power markets.
