EMT Palma, officially Empresa Municipal de Transports Urbans de Palma S.A., is the municipal public transport company wholly owned by the Ayuntamiento de Palma that operates urban bus services across Palma de Mallorca and neighbouring municipalities including Marratxí, Calvià and Llucmajor in Spain's Balearic Islands.

The company manages a network of over 40 bus lines with a daily operational fleet of around 190 vehicles, transporting more than 65 million passengers annually as of 2025. It employs approximately 940 staff and maintains facilities including its headquarters at Josep Anselm Clavé 5 in central Palma and operational depots such as Sa Tàpia in Son Ferriol, with a new ECO/EMT centre under development in Son Rossinyol.

EMT Palma is advancing fleet decarbonisation through procurement of battery-electric buses and operation of five 12-metre hydrogen fuel-cell buses. These vehicles, supplied with green hydrogen from the nearby Lloseta plant via the Green Hysland project, refuel at a dedicated station at the company's depot and have been in regular service since April 2025 on routes including Line 10. The initiative supports broader goals of achieving over 50% electrification by 2027 and a fully zero-emission fleet by 2030, funded in part through EU NextGenerationEU programmes.

As a key offtaker in Mallorca's emerging green hydrogen ecosystem, EMT Palma demonstrates practical end-use applications for renewable hydrogen in public transport while integrating with regional networks such as the Consorcio de Transportes de Mallorca.

Also known as Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Palma de Mallorca.
