The project targeted an annual capacity of 150,000 tonnes of biodiesel using rapeseed as the primary feedstock, along with sunflower and soy, with river transport via the Danube. Planned investment was approximately EUR 60 million, and the site was located in the South Industrial Zone on the Danube riverbank. The initiative aimed to support local agriculture and employment in northwestern Bulgaria and was described as a Bulgarian-German collaboration.

The company is majority-owned (99.93%) by ЕКО ПЕТРОЛИУМ (Eko Petroleum), with a 0.07% stake held by an individual shareholder. Its registered activities encompass the production and trade of vegetable oils, biofuels, glycerin, and other esterified products. Despite land swap approvals in 2006, the project showed no evidence of construction or operational milestones after initial planning and stalled around 2007-2010. The company remains registered and active in the Bulgarian commercial registry but was deregistered from VAT in February 2013, with no significant post-2013 activity reported. It operates in the biofuels and oleochemicals sector as a dormant entity linked to an uncompleted investment.
