(DEC Wind), legally known as 东方电气风电股份有限公司, is a specialized wind power subsidiary of Dongfang Electric Corporation, a major Chinese state-owned power equipment manufacturer headquartered in Chengdu, Sichuan. Established in 2015, it builds on over 60 years of group expertise since 1958.

The company researches, develops, and manufactures wind turbines using direct-drive, double-fed, and semi-direct-drive technologies, along with key components such as blades, generators, and control systems. Its portfolio includes onshore models from 1.5 MW to 12.5 MW and offshore from 5 MW to 26 MW, including pioneering units like the 5.5 MW onshore series and 10-18 MW offshore turbines. Products are exported to countries including Sweden, Finland, Ethiopia, Cuba, and Ecuador.

DEC Wind operates 13 assembly bases and 12 blade factories across China, with an annual capacity of 10 GW and over 15,000 turbines supplied. It ranked among the global top ten turbine manufacturers by new installations in 2023 and has developed record-breaking models, such as the world's largest 26 MW offshore prototype.
