Its role Owner
Dehloran Petrochemical Company is an Iranian petrochemical company developing and operating the Dehloran Petrochemical Complex in Dehloran, Ilam Province, western Iran near the Iraqi border.
The company's main activity centers on the construction and future operation of an olefin plant, referred to as the Dehloran Ethylene Cracker or 17th Olefin project. This facility will use ethane-rich feedstock supplied via pipeline from the upstream NGL 3100 natural gas liquids recovery plant to produce polymer-grade ethylene and propylene as primary products, along with pyrolysis gasoline and heavy oil.
Upon full operation, the complex is designed to output more than 650,000 tons annually of these petrochemicals for domestic consumption and export. The project supports Iran's efforts to capture associated petroleum gas, reduce flaring, and extend the hydrocarbon value chain into higher-value chemicals.
Headquartered in Tehran with the plant site in Dehloran, the company is a private entity with ties to investment groups including Ahdaf Investment Company and oil sector pension funds. It forms part of broader national initiatives to expand petrochemical capacity and regional economic development in Ilam Province.
