The group operates primarily across Algeria, executing major national development projects in water management, energy transport, transportation networks, and urban infrastructure. It ranks first in Algeria's construction industry and eleventh in Africa according to industry assessments. With a workforce of around 40,000 and substantial annual turnover, it contributes significantly to the country's infrastructure and economic growth.

Wholly owned by the Fonds National d'Investissement (FNI), Cosider Group maintains a strong focus on large-scale public projects. Its subsidiary Cosider Canalisations was entrusted with the construction of the Tlemcen seawater desalination plant, a key initiative under Algeria's national water security program using reverse osmosis technology to supply millions of residents.

Through its integrated structure and expertise in complex engineering, the group supports Algeria's efforts in climate resilience, resource management, and industrial development while adhering to international standards in quality, environment, and safety.
