Neoenergia Coelba, legally Companhia de Eletricidade do Estado da Bahia, is a Brazilian electricity distribution company operating primarily in the state of Bahia. It serves as a key subsidiary of Neoenergia S.A., which is controlled by the Spanish energy group Iberdrola.
The company manages electricity distribution across a concession area spanning much of Bahia, supplying power to millions of customers as part of Neoenergia's broader activities in distribution, transmission, generation, and commercialization across Brazil.
Its headquarters are in Salvador, Bahia. Following the renewal of its distribution concession for 30 years in 2025, the company has announced major infrastructure investments, including new substations and network expansions through 2030.
