Founded in 1919 through pioneering research into microbial fermentation, it commenced industrial-scale citric acid production in 1929 using a unique surface fermentation process with sugar molasses as the primary raw material.
The company manufactures citric acid in anhydrous, monohydrate, and solution forms, along with citrate salts such as monosodium and trisodium citrate. These products serve diverse applications in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care, animal nutrition, and industrial sectors, functioning as acidity regulators, pH adjusters, and buffering agents.
