CHIMEI Corporation (legal name: 奇美實業股份有限公司; also known as Chi Mei) is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of performance plastics and chemical materials, founded in 1960 and headquartered in Tainan.
The company is a major supplier of styrenic resins—including ABS, SAN, and polystyrene (GPPS/HIPS)—as well as acrylic (PMMA) resins and sheets. It also produces engineering plastics and compounds such as PC/ABS, ASA, and other specialty grades designed for flame resistance, high heat, impact strength, and optical performance.
