Chemours is a U.S.-based global specialty chemicals company, formed in 2015 through the spin-off of DuPont’s Performance Chemicals business and headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.
The company develops and manufactures titanium dioxide pigments (Ti-Pure) and fluorine-based materials and chemicals, including Teflon fluoropolymers, Viton fluoroelastomers, Krytox lubricants, Opteon low‑GWP refrigerants and blowing agents, and Nafion ion‑exchange membranes. Its products serve markets such as coatings, plastics, automotive, electronics, energy, refrigeration and air conditioning, and industrial processing.
Chemours operates manufacturing and R&D sites worldwide and reports through three segments: Titanium Technologies; Thermal & Specialized Solutions; and Advanced Performance Materials. The Chemours Company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CC.
