Its role Owner
BRAVO LNG S.A. de C.V. is a Mexican project company formed to own and operate the proposed Bravo LNG floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) export terminal located nearshore at the Port of Matamoros in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, on the Gulf Coast.
The facility will feature a modular design with one liquefaction train using floating barges for pretreatment, liquefaction, storage, and marine operations, targeting a nominal capacity of approximately 6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG. It will process U.S.-sourced natural gas delivered via the existing Sur de Texas-Tuxpan offshore pipeline system and export the resulting LNG by vessel to markets worldwide, including FTA and non-FTA countries.
The company operates as an affiliate of Freedom LNG LLC through common ownership and forms part of the development group led by Singapore-based LNG Alliance Pte Ltd. It maintains subsidiaries focused on specific project elements, including barge facilities, storage, maritime infrastructure, and operations. As a new entrant in Mexico's LNG sector, the entity is positioned to support regional export infrastructure development amid growing global demand for LNG, with the project currently in the early regulatory and permitting stages as of 2026.
