BioEnergie Park Güstrow is a large-scale renewable gas facility in Güstrow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The site converts organic residues and agricultural by-products into biogas via anaerobic digestion, upgrades the gas to biomethane, and operates liquefaction to produce bio-LNG. The plant also recovers biogenic carbon dioxide and supplies nutrient-rich digestate for use as fertilizer.
Its biomethane is used for grid injection and industrial applications, while bio-LNG supports lower-carbon heavy-duty transport. By valorizing regional waste streams and returning nutrients to soils, the facility contributes to circular economy goals and greenhouse-gas reduction within the energy and transport sectors.
