Betevé is the municipal public television and digital media service of Barcelona, Spain. Operated by the city’s municipal communications company (Informació i Comunicació de Barcelona, S.A.) and funded primarily by the Barcelona City Council, it was launched in 1994 as Barcelona Televisió (BTV) before adopting the betevé brand.
Broadcasting mainly in Catalan, betevé provides local news, cultural programming, current affairs, sports, and public-service content focused on Barcelona and its metropolitan area, distributed via terrestrial television, streaming, and online platforms.
