Belledune Port Authority

About Belledune Port Authority

Belledune Port Authority (BPA) is the federal agency that manages, operates, and develops the Port of Belledune, a deep-water port on Chaleur Bay in northern New Brunswick, Canada. Established under the Canada Marine Act, BPA oversees marine infrastructure and industrial lands to facilitate regional and international trade.

The port offers marine terminals for liquid and dry bulk, breakbulk and project cargo handling, along with tank storage, warehousing, and serviced industrial sites. It is connected to continental markets via CN rail and regional highways, supporting supply chains for fuels and other energy products, forest products, minerals, and industrial materials. BPA collaborates with municipal and Indigenous partners on responsible growth and is advancing initiatives to develop a green energy and industrial hub at the port.
