About Belenergia

Belenergia S.p.A. is an Italian renewable energy company headquartered in Milan. Founded in 2011 by French entrepreneurs Vincent Bartin and Jacques-Edouard Lévy, it develops, builds, finances, and operates solar photovoltaic and wind power plants, as well as bioenergy facilities using premium biomass.

The company manages an integrated value chain from project development and engineering to construction, financing, and operations & maintenance. Its portfolio includes over 30 solar plants, 60 MW of operational wind capacity—such as a 40 MW facility in Basilicata—and more than 12 bioenergy sites across Europe, processing 500,000 tonnes of organic waste annually into electricity, biomethane, bioethanol, and fertilizers.

With over 250 employees across Italy, France, and Spain, Belenergia focuses on carbon-free energy and circular economy solutions, primarily in Southern Italy (Apulia, Basilicata) and other European markets.
