EU Grants 180 Million EUR to Stockholm Exergi's BECCS Project
The BECCS plant will capture 800,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, aiding net zero goals. Funding includes EU support, Swedish state, and Carbon Removal Certificates. Full financing is targeted by 2023.
