B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão is the principal stock exchange in Brazil, located in São Paulo. Formerly known as BM&FBOVESPA, it was formed in 2008 through the merger of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) and the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F), with a further merger with Cetip in 2017.

As a major financial market infrastructure provider, B3 offers trading services in both exchange and over-the-counter (OTC) environments. Its activities encompass trading systems, clearing, settlement, depository, and registration for equities, fixed income securities, derivatives (including equity, interest rate, currency, and commodities), and structured products. It acts as a central counterparty for most trades and supports markets for vehicle and real estate financing.

B3 is publicly listed under the ticker B3SA3 on its own Novo Mercado segment and tracks key indices such as Ibovespa. With roots dating back to 1890, it maintains a significant global position in stock market infrastructure.
