Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company Limited (AGSC) is a special-purpose company established by the Shah Deniz consortium to aggregate, market, and sell natural gas from the Shah Deniz field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. Acting as the contractual seller on behalf of the field partners, AGSC manages long-term gas sales agreements with buyers in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye, and European markets.
The company coordinates commercial gas offtake from Shah Deniz and works with regional pipeline operators to arrange transportation via the South Caucasus Pipeline and onward through the Southern Gas Corridor, including connections to TANAP and TAP. Its activities include sales administration, nominations, allocation, and invoicing, supporting reliable delivery from one of the Caspian region’s largest gas developments. The gas supplied under AGSC contracts serves power generation, heating, and industrial uses, including as feedstock for chemicals and fertilizers across the region.
