ATP Adhesive Systems AG is a manufacturer of high-performance, solvent-free adhesive tapes and related bonding solutions, with a strong emphasis on water-based technologies. The company develops and produces client-specific single- and double-sided tapes, as well as self-adhesive and heat-activated films, primarily for demanding industrial applications.

Its products serve key end-markets including automotive and transportation, electronics, medical and healthcare, building and construction, graphics, and general industrial uses. More than 90 percent of the portfolio utilizes water-based, low-VOC formulations that offer a lower carbon footprint compared to solvent-based alternatives, aligning with sustainability trends in the adhesives industry.

Headquartered in Wollerau, Switzerland, ATP maintains production sites in Germany (including facilities in Wuppertal, Amt Creuzburg, and Bückeburg), the United Kingdom, and the United States (South Carolina). It employs around 700 people and reported expected sales of approximately €270 million for fiscal year 2025. The company operates primarily across Europe and North America.

In April 2026, ATP was acquired by Henkel AG & Co. KGaA from Arsenal Capital Partners and integrated into Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit. This move expands Henkel’s capabilities in specialty tapes as a complement to its liquid adhesive offerings. Previously, under Arsenal’s ownership since 2022, ATP grew through capacity expansions, the acquisition of Neschen Coating GmbH, and the establishment of a new U.S. production facility. ATP holds certifications including EMAS for environmental management and focuses on innovation, quality, and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Also known as B. D. K. Holdings and ATP.
