Anqing Petrochemical General Plant (安庆石油化工总厂), also known as Sinopec Anqing Petrochemical, is a state-owned refining and petrochemical enterprise based in Anqing, Anhui Province, China. As part of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec), the complex integrates crude oil processing with downstream chemical operations to supply fuels and basic petrochemical feedstocks to central China and the Yangtze River economic belt.
Its operations span crude distillation and conversion units, hydrogenation and catalytic processes, and supporting utilities and logistics. The site produces transportation fuels such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, along with LPG, asphalt, sulfur, and a range of petrochemical streams (e.g., propylene and aromatics) and selected derivatives that support regional chemical manufacturing. The facility has undergone upgrades to produce cleaner fuels in line with national standards and to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance.
