The initiative covers renewable hydrogen production (such as via electrolysis), along with associated storage, transport, and distribution infrastructure, and supports uptake in industrial and energy applications. Its objective is to accelerate the scale-up of low‑carbon hydrogen technologies, enable reliable supply for end users, and contribute to the decarbonization of hard‑to‑abate sectors relevant to the chemical and energy industries.
