Alltec AS is a Norwegian engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in renewable energy solutions, with recognized expertise in biogas, hydrogen, and ammonia technologies. Based in Stord, the firm delivers turnkey projects encompassing design, installation, electro-automation, control systems, and maintenance for low-carbon energy infrastructure.
Alltec is positioned as the only full-service EPC provider for decarbonized energy systems in the Norwegian market, leveraging deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and process technologies. It owns and operates the Energy House, one of Europe’s largest green energy test centers, certified under Norway’s Katapult label. Located in Stord, the facility enables testing of hydrogen production, ammonia crackers, fuel cells, blending, storage, distribution, and industrial applications under representative conditions.
In April 2025, Alltec AS was acquired 100% by the French carbon-negative energy producer La Française de l’Énergie (FDE) for approximately €9 million. The company continues to operate independently as an EPC provider while supporting FDE’s Norwegian activities. Employing approximately 50–66 people, Alltec contributes to Norway’s energy transition and collaborates on innovation projects such as HydraNord Power, supplying integration and testing capabilities for maritime ammonia-to-hydrogen systems.
