Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited is a Pakistan-based manufacturer and seller of paints and coatings, primarily focused on decorative paints. Headquartered in Lahore with branches across the country, it operates as a subsidiary of ICI Omicron B.V., part of the global AkzoNobel group.
Tracing its roots to ICI Pakistan Limited's paints business, acquired by AkzoNobel in 2008, the company was demerged into a separate entity in June 2012. It employs over 250 people and offers products for interior, exterior, wood finishes, automotive, and protective coatings applications.
In April 2026, AkzoNobel agreed to sell the company to IGI Investments (Packages Group) for an enterprise value of PKR 16.2 billion (≈€50 million), subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in H2 2026. This follows the divestment of AkzoNobel India in December 2025 as part of a strategic portfolio review.
