About ADNOC Refining

ADNOC Refining is the refining arm of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), established in 1999 to manage the group's oil refining operations. It operates major facilities including the Ruwais and Abu Dhabi refineries, with a total processing capacity of approximately 922,000 barrels per day.

The company produces over 40 million tons annually of refined products such as LPG, naphtha, gasoline, jet fuel, gas oil, base oils, petrochemical feedstocks like propylene, and specialty items including carbon black and anode coke. These are supplied to domestic and international markets, supporting the UAE economy and global energy demands. ADNOC Refining manages a 1,600 km pipeline network across Abu Dhabi.

It is a joint venture involving ADNOC (majority owner), Eni, and OMV. As part of ADNOC's downstream business, it plays a key role in the chemical industry value chain by providing essential feedstocks.
