ADNOC LNG

Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Limited, operating as ADNOC LNG and formerly known as ADGAS, is a joint venture established in 1973 as the first LNG production company in the Arabian Gulf. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, it processes and exports liquefied natural gas along with liquefied petroleum gas, paraffinic naphtha, and sulfur from facilities on Das Island. The company maintains a liquefaction capacity of 6 million tonnes per annum. It forms part of the ADNOC Gas entity, created in 2023 through consolidation of ADNOC's gas processing and LNG operations. Majority ownership rests with ADNOC, with minority interests held by partners including Mitsui, bp, and TotalEnergies. The operations support ADNOC's broader gas and LNG activities in the region.
