In 2026, it signed a strategic collaboration with TA’ZIZ for up to $10 billion in capital investment to develop approximately 2.2 million tonnes per annum of new industrial chemicals capacity, including styrene, polystyrenes, acrylic acid derivatives, polyols, MDI, epoxy resins, and linear alpha-olefins. This initiative aims to integrate with ADNOC infrastructure, substitute imports, and align with the UAE’s Make it in the Emirates industrial strategy, pending feasibility studies, investment decisions, and approvals.
