Action Pin is a French company based in Castets, in the Landes region, specializing in the design, production, and marketing of bio-based chemical preparations derived from pine raw materials such as turpentine derivatives, resins, and fatty acids.
Founded in 1995 as a subsidiary of DRT—a leader in pine chemistry—it focuses on two main areas: crop protection products, including adjuvants and fungicides like HELIOTERPEN® and HELIOSOUFRÈ® S for organic and conventional farming, and ecological cleaning and hygiene solutions for professional and animal environments under brands such as le VRAI PROFESSIONNEL, ENZYPIN, and SANITERPEN.
Employing around 110 people, the company generated approximately €50 million in sales in 2025. Previously part of dsm-firmenich's Perfumery & Beauty division as the "Agro Ingredients" unit, it was sold to AP Marensin S.A.S.U., a investor consortium, in 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
