Aberdeen Investcorp Infrastructure Partners (AIIP) is an infrastructure investment platform jointly established by abrdn (formerly Aberdeen Standard Investments) and Investcorp. The firm focuses on deploying long‑term capital into essential infrastructure across the Middle East and North Africa, particularly the GCC. Its mandate spans energy and utilities (including power, water, renewables, and midstream), transportation, and social infrastructure, investing through equity and long‑term partnership structures such as concessions and public‑private partnerships.
For the chemical and energy value chains, AIIP targets assets that support natural gas and liquids processing, storage, and distribution, as well as related utility and industrial infrastructure that underpins petrochemical production and broader industrial growth.
