ABANCA Corporación Bancaria, S.A. is a Spanish retail bank headquartered in Betanzos, Spain, with operations centered in Galicia. It provides banking services to individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporates, including loans, deposits, and related financial products. The bank originated from the restructuring of former savings banks and was established in its current form following mergers completed around 2014.
ABANCA maintains a leading position in its regional market and has pursued selective expansion, including into Portugal. It participates in syndicated financing arrangements for corporate and infrastructure projects.
