Reindustrialising Europe Through Sustainable Chemistry: From Crisis to Opportunity

Avantium hosts a dialogue at the European Parliament in Brussels on reindustrialising Europe through sustainable chemistry.

The event takes place on 24 June 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00 and features opening remarks by MEP Jeannette Baljeu (Renew Europe, NL), an EU policy perspective from Hans Ingels (European Commission, DG GROW), a business case presentation by Marco Jansen (CCO, Avantium), and a panel discussion with Marco Pellegrini (CEFIC), Hans Ingels, Joel Tickner (University of Massachusetts Lowell & Change Chemistry), a representative of the Dutch Ministry, and closing remarks by Marco Jansen.
