Nuclear Energy Summit: 2026

The Nuclear Energy Summit 2026, the second edition hosted by the Government of France in Paris with involvement from the IAEA, convened heads of state and government, leaders of international organizations, financial institutions, industry representatives, and experts on 10 March 2026.

The summit addressed the central role of civil nuclear energy in tackling major energy and climate challenges. Discussions emphasized strengthening international cooperation, advancing safe and sustainable nuclear power development, and fostering partnerships among governments, organizations, industry, and finance. Topics included nuclear technology, safety, financing, innovation, and supply chains.

It followed the inaugural summit held in Brussels on 21 March 2024. Outcomes included affirmations by global leaders on nuclear energy's importance and additional countries joining commitments to triple nuclear capacity.
