Sinopec Guangzhou Petrochemical Company (中国石油化工股份有限公司广州分公司), commonly known as Guangzhou Petrochemical, is a major subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and one of the leading petrochemical enterprises in South China.
Located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, in the Pearl River Delta, the company originated from the Guangzhou Petrochemical General Factory established in 1973. It spans 4.45 million square meters and operates over 60 major production units, including a 299,000 kW captive thermal power station.
