Cepsa Bioenergía San Roque, S.A. (Cepsa Bioenergia San Roque, S.A.), commonly referred to as Cepsa Bioenergy, is a Spanish subsidiary of Cepsa focused on the production of renewable fuels. Based in San Roque (Cádiz), it operates within Cepsa’s downstream portfolio to develop and supply bio-based fuel components for the transport and industrial sectors.
The company converts biological feedstocks—such as vegetable oils, used cooking oils, and other waste-derived lipids—into low-carbon fuel components for blending into conventional diesel and other applications. Its activities support compliance with European renewable fuel regulations and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse-gas emissions in mobility and logistics. Integrated with Cepsa’s refining and distribution infrastructure, Cepsa Bioenergía San Roque leverages established supply chains and quality systems to deliver certified renewable fuel blends and intermediates across Iberia and export markets.

Topsoe's technology will enable a plant in Guangxi to produce SAF and renewable diesel from used cooking oil, reducing CO2 emissions by 800,000 tons annually. Operations start in December 2026.
