INA biorefinery in Sisak, Croatia secures funding from EU Recovery and Resilience Plan

During an official visit to Zagreb on July 8, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen confirmed that the Croatian Recovery and Resilience Plan worth HRK 48.7 billion had been accepted. As part of the Plan, HRK one billion is planned for the development of the Biorefinery project.

Financial resources provided from European and domestic funds are one of the preconditions for the construction of an advanced bioethanol plant on the site in Sisak.
