Start-up of granulation unit at Pavlodar complex in Kazakhstan by Neftekhim Ltd.

Kazakhstan's President, N. Nazarbayev, has launched the production of a powder polypropylene granulation unit. The project, costing 6 billion tenge, will enable the enterprise to produce 47.8 thousand tons of granulated polypropylene annually. 60% of the production will be for the domestic market, while the remaining will be exported to Russia, China, and Turkey. The equipment and technologies for the project were supplied by German company Leistritz.

N. Nazarbayev launched the production of a powder polypropylene granulation unit. The head of state noted that the production of chemical products is of particular importance for Kazakhstan. 

The project, worth 6 billion tenge (approx €15 mio), will allow the enterprise to produce 47.8 thousand tons of granulated polypropylene per year. 60% of the production is intended for the domestic market, the rest will be exported to Russia, China and Turkey. 

The equipment and technologies were supplied by the German company Leistritz.
