ORGANICA Feinchemie becomes part of WeylChem Group after being acquired by the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG)

German chemical company ORGANICA Feinchemie GmbH will be integrated into the WeylChem Group of Companies after being acquired by the International Chemical Investors Group. From July 1, 2023, ORGANICA will operate as WeylChem ORGANICA, while CBW will focus on contract manufacturing for WeylChem. The acquisition will increase the WeylChem Group's workforce by around 150 employees and sales by over €20m ($23.6m) to a total of around €730m. ORGANICA specializes in custom synthesis and is authorized to produce over 70 reaction types. The alliance is expected to create synergies and strengthen the companies' positioning in the fine chemicals market.

Frankfurt/Main, GERMANY, ORGANICA Feinchemie GmbH, based in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany, will be integrated into the WeylChem Group of Companies following its acquisition by the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG). The globally active niche supplier will operate in the market as WeylChem ORGANICA from July 1, 2023. CBW, which is part of the company, will focus on contract manufacturing for WeylChem from the same date. The WeylChem Group's workforce will thus increase by around 150 to almost 1,500 employees, while sales will climb by more than 20 million euros to a total of around 730 million. 
ORGANICA specializes in flexible custom synthesis in a wide range of quantities from 25 kilograms to 75 metric tons, and in association with CBW even up to approx. 1,000 metric tons per year. The company, which emerged from the VEB Fotochemisches Kombinat Wolfen in 1995, is authorized to produce more than 70 reaction types. Its customer base includes companies in more than 30 countries.
